Harold C Dunn Jr.

Harold C. Dunn, Jr., 90, of Garrard County, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023 at his home. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara Miller Dunn. He was born on May 18, 1933 in Lincoln County, KY to the late Harold Cook Dunn Sr. and Christine Swope Dunn. 

Harold retired after 38 years working at Dixie Cup. He was a devoted member of Forks of Dix River Baptist Church.

Surviving is his loving wife, Barbara Dunn of Lancaster; a son, Paul Dunn of Lancaster; two daughters, Cheryl McCoy(Barry) of Mt. Sterling and Patricia Williams of Virginia; five grandchildren, Lauren McCoy, Ethan McCoy, Amber Grose, Kara Williams, Sydney Williams; and one great grandchild. 

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday May 25, 2023 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dwayne Dasher and Bro. Jerry Browning officiating. 

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday May 24, 2023 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are James Rutherford, Jimmy Caudill, Jeff Miller, Chuck Miller, Robbie Miller, Aaron Grose.

Honorary pallbearers are Bro. Bill Rhodus Sunday School Class.
