Glenn Walker Lear, 59, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 at St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, KY. Glenn was born on October 7, 1964 in Garrard County to parents James Fred Lear and Hallie Hall Lear.

Surviving is his loving wife, Hubetta Miller Lear of Lancaster; parents, James Fred Lear and (Hallie) Hall Lear of Lancaster; a son, Dennis (Asher) of Lincoln County, KY; two daughters, Kathy Nicholson of Stanford, and Asher Lutz of California; one sister, Toni Caudill of Lancaster and one brother, James Alvin Lear of Lancaster; grandchildren, Shannon Madden, Shelby Madden, Tera Cook, Lucas Asher, Xavier Lutz, Fiona Lutz, and Aeslyn (Fouch); great grandchildren, Ezra Masters, Eli Masters, and Benjamin Masters.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Artie Alexander officiating. 

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Lancaster.

Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are Micah Lester, Tony Gilliam, Troy Miller, Cody Broaddus, Mikel Kidwell, and Jay Lear.

Honorary pallbearers are Josh Gilliam, John Caudill, David Lee Hall, Carlton Hall, and Andrew Moore.
