Glenn Frazier Crumley Jr. Obituary

Glenn Frazier Crumley Jr., 79, of Liberty, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born in November 13, 1946 in Pikeville Kentucky to the late Glenn Frazier Crumley, Sr. and Imogene Hackeny Crumley. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Gibson Crumley of Liberty, Kentucky.

Glenn (Petey) graduated from Elkhorn City High School in 1965. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years. After his time in the Air Force he worked for the United Steel Workers. He enjoyed sharing stories of his military and work experiences. Glenn’s hobbies included playing Rook, tennis, bowling (especially on the Wii where he could out strike anyone), shooting guns, and reading his Bible. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family and hosting family cook-outs. Petey was a devoted Christian and served the Lord through preaching and singing his favorite gospels. To know him was to know that he was proud to be “The World’s Best Grandad” to his grandchildren. If you saw him you were sure to see all the different types of hats he would wear.

Surviving are sons, Glenn “Frazier” Crumley III (Crystal) of Perryville, Matthew Gibson of Louisville; daughters, Lisa Adkins (Chris) of Liberty, Kentucky and Priscilla Gibson of Elkhorn City, Kentucky; grandchildren, Tilden-Austin Frazier Crumley (Megan), Wesley Dalton Crumley, Savannah Lynn Adkins (Jacob), Briannah Leigh Deel (Blake), Emily Grace Gillock (Brigham), Gabriella Raine Gibson, Mason Chaney, Chevy Meade, and Penelope Meade.
