George W. McClure

George W. McClure, 85, of Lancaster, passed away February 21, 2024 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.  He was born August 4, 1938 in Mt. Vernon to parents John and Sudie Thomas McClure. 

George is survived by two sons, Jeff (Tonya) McClure and George Lee (Rhonda) McClure, all of Nicholasville; daughter Margaret (Mike) McCollum of Lancaster; grandchildren, Jacob Bruner, Jordan McClure, Joseph McClure, Marion McClure, Michael McCollum, Amanda McCollum, Kayla McClure, Jordan K. McClure, Grant McClure; great grandchildren, Carter McClure, Jacoby McClure, Penelope McClure, Iris Bruner, Pearson McClure, Nova McClure, Adalee McClure, Rose Bruner and Sophia Bruner.

He was preceded in death by his wife Anna McClure, his parents, brothers Frank and R.L. McClure and sister Rose Sherrow.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 26, 2024, 1:00 pm at Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Letcher Napier officiating. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service. 

Burial will follow at Pentecostal Fellowship Church Cemetery in Lancaster, KY.
