G.C. Chadwell

G.C. Chadwell, 76, of Lancaster, Kentucky, passed away October 20, 2019 in Stanford, Kentucky.  He was born April 16, 1943 to the late Lester and Hazel Perry Chadwell in Knox Co., Kentucky. GC is survived by his loving wife, Doris "Jeanie" Allen Chadwell.

G.C. was Army veteran who retired from service after 22 years and worked for Dana Corporation for many years.  He was a member of the Forks of Dix River Baptist Church.

Along with his wife, Jeanie, he is survived by daughters, Michelle Torez and Kimberly Chadwell; sons, William Glenn (Debra) Chadwell and Tony Chadwell, all of South Carolina; brother, Shelby Chadwell of Indiana and five grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, G.C, was preceded in death by brothers, Gene and Smiley Chadwell and sister, Magdalene Swaffer.

Funeral services will be 11AM Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8PM on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Allen, Dalton Allen, Phillip Allen and Devin Ray Dykes.
