Ellis Marshall Snodgrass, 72, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025 at Maplewood Manor in Lancaster. He was born June 6, 1953, in Lancaster, KY to Ellis and Martha Baughman Snodgrass.

He moved to Louisville, KY at an early age where he attended school and eventually graduated from Shawnee High School.

​Once graduating, he had various occupations in construction and manufacturing and eventually retired after spending a number of years in the transportation industry. Marshall loved spending time with family and friends as well as watching University of Louisville basketball and football.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two sons Marcel Snodgrass and Lexus Yarborough; two sisters Sula Jones, Lancaster, KY and Regina Snodgrass, Detroit, MI and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

​He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Theresa Seagars. 

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, October 25, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Lancaster with Rev. David McPherson officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 pm until time of the service at the church. Burial in Duncantown cemetery will follow the service.
