Edith Pennington Bolton, 89, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in Lancaster, Kentucky. She was born on April 9,1931 in Madison County to the late Arthur Lee and Betty Ball Pennington. Edith is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Bolton.
She was a homemaker and attended Lancaster Nazarene Church.
Surviving are children, Peggy Eden, Gale Eden (Frankie), Leticia Turner (Lonnie) and Barbara Wilson (Sonny), all of Lancaster, grandchildren, Trina Bolton, Missy Smallwood, Lowavia Hoback, Lowania George, James Turner, Jason Turner, Denisha Johnson, Anthony Turner and Elijah Wilson, ten great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and a sister, Bernice Chambers of Florida.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a granddaughter, Stephanie Lunsford.
Funeral services 12 Noon on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dwayne Lobb and Bro. Everett Priddy officiating. Visitation will be 9am until 12 noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are preferred to Lancaster Nazarene Church Building Fund or New Mission Worship Center.
