Dorothy League,73, of Sunrise Drive, Formerly of Manchester, KY died Friday at her home.
Surviving is her husband James League . She was born September 28, 1940 in Clay County, KY to the late Granville and Nannie Fields Fields. Dorothy was a Homemaker and a member of the Burning Springs Church of God.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Barger(Jean) and Joe Barger both of Manchester, KY. Three daughters, Rebecca Smith(Joe) of Lancaster, KY, Connie Gray (Mike) of Nicholasville, KY and Shelle League of Lancaster. Two brothers Granville Fields, and Harold Fields(Laurie) both of Manchester, KY and a sister Rella Taylor(Dennie) of Manchester. Nine Grandchildren, Sixteen Great-Grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandchild. Dorothy was also preceded in death by two brothers Marion and Oscar Fields.
Funeral Services will be 7:00 P.M. Monday May 5, 2014 at the Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Lancaster, KY. Visitation 5-7 P.M. Monday.
Burial will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday May 6, 2014, at the Tanyard Cemetery, Manchester, KY.
