Doris Lucas, 84, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Baptist Health Lexington. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmie Lucas. Doris was born on April 25, 1937 in Garrard County to the late John W. and Lucy Keeton Pollard.
Doris retired from Kentucky Cleaners in Lancaster after 20 years.
She was a member of Lancaster Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Gail Savoldi(John) of Lexington and Sheri Carpenter(Bobby) of Lancaster; a son, Jeff Lucas(Claudia) of Lancaster; a sister, Willie A. Metcalf of Lancaster; and three grandchildren, Haley Jo Rector(Michael), Camila Lucas, and Olivia Lucas.
Services will be private.
Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY.
