Donna Poynter Obituary
Donna Banas Poynter, 85, died September 27, 2010 at University of Kentucky Hospital. Born in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Henderson Poynter and Polly Wardlow Poynter.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster, worked at the Garrard County hospital auxiliary and Owsley House for many years. Survivors include a brother Charles Poynter of Birmingham Alabama, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Stan Banas, a brother S.D. Poynter, and a sister Johazel Branigan.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Lisa Eye officiating. Visitation will be Saturday 12:30 p.m. till the service time.
Pallbearers will be Rick Martin, Kenny Black, Jason Plaxico, John Marsee, Tommy Cornelious, and Nick Marsee. Burial will be in the Lancaster Cemetery.

Funeral: Saturday, October 2, 2010 2:00 PM
