Donald Lynn Boyd, 70, of Nicholasville, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY.

He was born on November 23, 1954 in Lexington, KY to the late Donald Gayle Boyd and Shirley Kyle Boyd.

Donald was a horse trainer and self employed barber. He loved the lake life. He enjoyed fishing, water skiing, being around his horses. Mostly he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Austin Boyd (Becky) of Nicholasville and Kody Boyd (Alyssa) of Lancaster; the mother of his children and friend, Kathy Werner; a brother, Mike Boyd; four grandchildren, Dylan Boyd, Taylor Boyd, Ava Boyd, and Sawyer Boyd. Also surviving are many cousins and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Buddy Puckett officiating.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm until service time.
