Dickie Canter

Dickie Canter, 82, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday December 18, 2022 at Landmark of Lancaster. He was born on June 12, 1940 in Jessamine County to the late Charles and Evelyn Canter.

Dickie was a member of Forks of Dix River Baptist Church and worked at Matthews for over sixteen years.

He is survived by a brother, Thomas Canter (Barbara) of Butler County; a nephew, Johnny Allen of Lancaster; and two nieces, Doris Chadwell and Dianne Dikes both of Lancaster.

Funeral services will be at 11am on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Dwayne Dasher officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 5-7pm. Burial in Lancaster Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Mike Bolin, Seth Darnyl, Bobby Hardwick, Tyler Oberman, Daryl Edgington, and Craig Sutton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sunday School Class of Bill Rhodus and Active and Inactive Deacons of Forks of Dix River Baptist Church.
