Delores Geiger

Delores J. "Dee" Geiger, age 88, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019. She was born in Erie on September 19, 1930, daughter of the late Verna Calvano Hinkler.

A resident of Erie all her life, Delores was part owner of Leisure-Time Pools, Inc. Previously she worked for Kayak Pools. She was a member of St. Luke R.C. Church, Siebenbuerger Ladies Auxiliary, and St. Mary's Club. Delores was an avid bowler and a member of the 600 Club. She bowled in the Women's Classic League for over ten years.

Delores is survived by four daughters, Sherry Reedy (Herbert) of Virginia Beach, Debra J. Hunter (John), of California, Laura Gress (William) of Erie, and Kelli Nesselhauf (Kevin) of Kentucky; one son, Edward Trohoski (Cindy) of Kentucky; ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, including twins. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Geiger, who passed away December 4, 2001; her brother, Emory "Red" Hinkler and his wife, Joann; and a sister, Mary Denning.
