Clara Conner, 84, of Stanford, passed away at her home on December 17, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Conner. Clara was born on October 14, 1937 in Fayette County, KY to the late Henry and Nora Curtis Lane.

Clara worked in admitting and administration at St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington for many years. She was a member of Crab Orchard Baptist Church in Crab Orchard, KY. Clara enjoyed gardening and putting puzzles together.
 

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Conner and Pam Adams(Matt) both of Stanford, KY; two grandchildren, Bailey Adams and Bradley Adams also of Stanford, KY; and a special niece, Paula Lear of Burgin, KY.

Clara was also preceded in death by a sister Evelyn Sims.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. TJ Godby officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville.
 

Pallbearers are Matt Adams, Brad Adams, Rice Lear, Duval Sims, Troy Watts, and Gerald Adams.
