Christopher "Lance" Weber

Christopher "Lance" Weber, 45, of Garrard County, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 at his home. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on October 6, 1976 to Terri Lynn Weber of Garrard County.

Lance loved the outdoors. He loved to kayak, fish and hike. After his accident 25 years ago, he was still able to kayak and do all the things he loved to do, just from another angle. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson that he converted to a trike. Lance loved his nieces and nephews dearly and found his faith would see him through.

Along with his mother, Christopher is survived by a brother Jakey "Heath” Weber of Versailles; two sisters, Lauren Brook Weber of Lancaster and Jennifer Lynn Releford (William Lynn) of Tampa, Florida; nieces and nephews, Caleb Smith, Jakey Dean Smith and Caitlyn Smith, Hunter Weber, Ezekiel Leavell and Joshua Leeks; Kasey Jasper, Charlee Releford, Kristynn Hope Releford, William Lynn Releford III and Makayla Releford.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Nan Woods.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Lancaster with Pastor Alan Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Spurlin Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Timmy Woods, Daniel Barnes, James Treadway, Jake Embry, Leigh Culver and Donnie Woods.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Shawn Smolinskey, Paul Curtsinger, Lynn Releford, Hunter Weber, Caleb Smith and Kasey Jasper.
