Charlotte Ann Leavell Obituary
Charlotte “Ann” Leavell, 77, of Lancaster, passed away November 3, 2025 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on July 22, 1948 in Garrard County to the late Edwin Spillman and Sula Ray Dunn. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey J. Leavell.
Ann was a very devoted church member and she was very loyal to God. She wasn't just a pew sitter, she was active in church. Ann retired from Trane and worked at the casket factory for many years. She loved going to bingo when she was able and the love she had for her God, carried over to the community. The kids in the community loved her, she would load kids up in her van/bus and take the neighborhood kids swimming and other places. If some kids didn’t have finances to go, she would make a way for it to happen. Heaven gained an angel, We are so thankful for the legacy of love that she left here on earth. We love you and thank you “Ann". Rest In Heaven.
Surviving is a daughter, Angela Leavell of Louisville; granddaughter, Madison J’Ann Robinson of Louisville; two brothers, Albert Spillman (Don Notts) of Lancaster and Robert Ray of Richmond; brother in laws, Charles Alcorn and Jamie Black, both of Lancaster; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends left to cherish her memory.
