Charles “Dee” Anderson Obituary

Charles “Dee” Anderson, 63, of Madison County, KY passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025 in Madison County, KY. Dee was born on January 27, 1962 in Garrard County, KY to Ella Anderson Kavanaugh and the late J. Wade Kavanaugh. 


Dee loved basketball. He played from his early years all the way through high school as a Garrard County Golden Lion. He enjoyed listening to music and singing. He was a avid Darts and Billiards player.


Surviving is his mother, Ella Anderson Kavanaugh of Lancaster ; three sons, Dequentin Anderson, Kendall Anderson, and Raymond Crutcher all of Richmond; three sisters, Daphanie Buster of Lexington, Deborah Kavanaugh of Lancaster, and Shanna Kavanaugh of Richmond; two brothers, Ricky Kavanaugh (Keiyanna) of Danville and J. Wade Kavanaugh III of Richmond; grandchildren, Tae’breonna Agee, Sania Anderson, Zelia Fox, Amiah Anderson, Legacy Anderson, Kahron Anderson, Kjuan White,  Sydney Hocker, Kyan Crutcher, Raylon Crutcher, Timothy Crutcher, and Nova Crutcher; a nephew, Tevin Kavanaugh; and two nieces, Deloria Kavanaugh and Jailyn Kavanaugh Carmack


Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 22, 2025 at St. Paul Predestinarian Baptist Church with Bro. Barry Bowman officiating. 


Visitation will be 12:00 PM until service time at the church.


Burial will follow the service at Duncantown Cemetery.


Pallbearer’s are Wilbur Dunn, Elvis Buford, Dino Perkins, Rob Boatley, Kahron Anderson, and Kjuan White.


Honorary Pallbearer’s are his sons, Dequentin Anderson, Kendall Anderson, Raymond Crutcher, and brothers, Ricky Kavanaugh and J. Wade Kavanaugh III.
