Carlen Sue Langdon

Carlen Sue Langdon, 70, of Nicholasville, passed away October 31, 2021 at her home. She was born in Barbourville, Kentucky to the late Alvin and Maudie Spicer Reed. Carlen is preceded in death by her husband, Danny Langdon.

Carlen loved to bargain shop, ceramic pottery, reading books and loved taking pictures of her family. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Leslie Scott Shuler of Lancaster and James Bradley Shuler  (Natasha) of Ohio; ten grandchildren; a brother, Larry Smith of Danville; two sisters, Geraldine Gross of Florida and Linda Reed of Florida and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Natasha Lynn Ortiz.

Funeral services will be 1pm Monday, November 8, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Calvin Spicer Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm.
