Bonita "Bonnie" Cox, 71, of Garrard County, KY, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. She is survived by her loving husband, John Kenneth Cox.
Bonita was born on November 21, 1949 in Jefferson County, KY to the late Merlin J. and Laura Powell Snyder.

She enjoyed camping, and attending her grandchildren's sporting events.

Also surviving are two sons, Ed Cox (Shannon) of Knoxville, TN and Ken Cox(Michelle) of Illinois; two daughters, Laurie Goodwin Eldridge of Perryville, KY and Betsy Hull of Knoxville, TN; eight grandchildren, Nathan Eldridge, Gracie Eldridge, Katherine Cox, Laura Cox, David Hull, Max Hull, Molly Hull, Trent Cox.

Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Thursday January 7, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 PM -7:00 PM at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be live streamed on Spurlin Funeral Home of Lancaster Facebook page.  

Graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Fowler Cemetery in Fowler Indiana on Friday January 8, 2021.

Pallbearers are David Hull, Max Hull, Ken Cox, Ed Cox, and Corey Hildebrandt.
