Billy Wayne Stewart, 38, of Somerset, passed away December 6, 2023 . He was born in Lexington, Kentucky to Billy Gene Stewart of Butler County, Ohio and Kathy Boshers Stewart of Somerset. 

Billy Wayne loved to fish, hunt and camping. He loved listening to all music and loved good homemade food. No matter what, Billy Wayne always had a huge smile on his face.

Surviving are his parents, a daughter, Alexis Ball of Stearns, Kentucky; a brother, Robert Stewart (Hannah Coleman) of Somerset; a sister, Amanda Vaughn (Jordan Stephens) of Somerset; a special aunt, Vicki Sue Frymyer of Junction City; and numerous cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Hiram and Mary Boshers and paternal grandparents, Donald Stewart and Wanda Gabbard.

Funeral services will be 7pm Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Spurlin Funeral Home of Lancaster with Pastor Joe Isaacs officiating.  Visitation will be from 5-7pm Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Carpenter Cemetery in Jackson County 1pm Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

Pallbearers will be Robert Stewart, Jesse Durham, Tj Allen, Scottie Vaughn, Jordan Stephens and James Lyons.
