Betty Rigsby, 80, of Lancaster, passed away at her home on Monday, May 26, 2025. She was born on August 1, 1944, to the late Walter T. Moore and Lois Viney Moore in Macon, Georgia. Betty is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Billy Rigsby.

Betty was a faithful member of Lancaster Baptist Church.

Along with her husband, Betty is also survived by her daughter, Wanda Rigsby of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Fallan Eldridge, Candise Board, and Katlin Wilson; seven great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Board, Skye Board, Asher Eldridge, Lucas Eldridge, Kennaley Wilson, Sawyer Wilson, and Jerzey Wilson; a sister, Peggy Steele; and a brother, Wayne Moore.

Betty was also preceded in death by a sister, Penny Moore.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Spurlin Funeral Home with Brother Bob Rush officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Spurlin Funeral Home. 

Pallbearers will be Mervin Kramer, Jerry Frost, Asher Eldridge, Lucas Eldridge, Kenton Napier, and Jerome Wilson.
