Betty Deaton Maupin, 76, of Lancaster passed away November 9, 2020 at Ft. Logan Hospital in Stanford. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ron. 

Betty was born on April 9, 1944 in Lee County, KY to the late Bethel and Flossie Ventors Deaton. 

She was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.

Surviving is a son Gregory Hollon(Jennifer) of Lancaster; two daughters, Stephania Wagner(Eugene) of Petersburg, KY and Laura East(Stuart) of Lancaster; a brother, Danny Deaton of Lexington; and eight grandchildren, Kaitlyn Wagner, Eugene Wagner Jr., Brett Wagner, Loren Wagner, Elwood East(Mallie) Jackson East, Aaron East(April), and Tiara Hollon. 

Betty was along with her husband and parents was preceded in death by five brothers, Tony, Patrick, Woodrow, Elifus, James Deaton; and four sisters, Jeston Stewart, Joyce Flora, Mary Trent, and Angeline Broxey.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday November 13, 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Grant Hardwick officiating.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM until service time.

Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Aaron East, Eugene Wagner Jr., Brett Wagner, Elwood East, and Jackson East.

Honorary pallbearers are Kaitlyn Wagner, Loren Wagner, and Tiara Hollon.
