Beatrice "Bea" Logan

Beatrice "Bea" Logan, passed away on Saturday September 19, 2020 at the age of 63. She was born on August 27, 1957 in Garrard County to the late James Lewis Buford and Stella Virginia Buford.

Bea joined Pleasant Run Baptist Church at an early age. She attended Garrard County High School. Bea was a loving mother and wife. She spent most of her life loving and caring for her family. It was just natural for her to be a caregiver. Whether is was caring for her children, grandchildren, siblings, or parents. Bea would always be there. Bea took her title as wife, mother, and nanny seriously. She had a special love and bond with her grand babies. Her big personality and fun-loving spirit will be greatly missed by all.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 34 years Michael Logan; three sons, Arness(Katrina) Buford, Diangilo Dontae Logan, Michael Lamont Logan; three daughters, Wendy(Ricky) Abrams, Daphne (Richard) Vancleave, and Felicia Hunt; seven grandsons, Da'Mauriae Vancleave, Micha Logan, Jakobe Buford, Elijah Buford, Malakye Buford, Bryson Logan, and Kingston Logan; five granddaughters, Mikaela Buford, A'Mauri Blackford, Nadya Abrams, Lyric Logan, and Mya Overstreet; She will leave behind four sisters, Lisa Buford, Evonne Buford, Ida Buford, and Renee(Tony) Hood; three brothers, James"June" Buford, James "Robert" Boatley and Elvis Buford; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father James Buford and her siblings, Charles Buford, Kenneth Pullins, and Pearl Buford.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday September 25, 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be 5:00- 7:00 PM on Thursday September 24, 2020 at the funeral home.
