Barbara Todd, 84, of Lancaster, passed away October 23, 2022 at her home. She was born on October 29, 1937 in Garrard County to the late W.K. and Doris Green Hurt. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lois Kenneth Todd.

Barbara and her husband ran a dairy and raised tobacco for many years and in later in life, she worked at Garrard County High School. She was a faithful member for many years of Fairview Christian Church, where she was instrumental in ensuring the "In Memory" plaques were always in place.

Surviving is a daughter, Darla Creech (Kenny) of Garrard County; grandchildren, Kelli Todd and Trevor Creech, step-grandchildren, Tasha and Travis Stone; sisters, Frances Hensley (Leslie) of Paint Lick and Jeanie Carrier (Phillip) of Lancaster and one brother, Billy Hurt (Judy) of Paint Lick.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Kenneth Todd.

Funeral services will be 11am October 29, 2022 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Manse Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Friday, October 28, 2022 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Michael Carrier, Jason Carrier, Travis Stone, Warren Gooch, Daniel Lamb and Ernie Whitlock.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to Fairview Christian Church.
