Arthur Kinnard Preston

Arthur Kinnard Preston, 78, of Lancaster, passed away November 9, 2021 in Danville, Kentucky. He was born in Garrard County to the late Earl and Marie Tipton Preston. Kinnard is survived by his wife of 56 years, Faye Preston. 

Kinnard worked with Feldman's Lumber Company,Ky Powder Company and retired from P &H Truck and Trailer Repair. He was a humble man, who loved woodworking and dearly loved his family. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. 

Surviving is a son, Ricky Preston (Dona) of Lancaster, a daughter, Christy Tudor (John) of Lancaster; grandchildren, Nici Duncan, Mark Preston, Kevin Preston, Morgan Kurtz, Jordan Berney, Britney Hall, Haley Davis, and Ryan Houp (Tudor), ten great-grandchildren and siblings, Virgil Preston, Leoma Turner, and Lavone Ledford. 

He is preceded in death by a great grandson, Dylan Preston and siblings, Patsy Gilliam, Nina Gilliam, David Preston and George Earl Preston. 

Visitation will be Friday, November 12, 2021 from 5-7pm at Spurlin Funeral Home of Lancaster. A private family burial will be Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Danville Memorial Gardens.
