Antonio “Boo” Harvey, 28, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024 at his home. He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Pearlie J. Harvey and his special aunt and uncle Adella and Robert Stevenson. “Boo” was born on August 13, 1996 in Lexington, Kentucky to the proud parents of Endia C. Harvey of Lancaster and Anthony Tanksley of Lexington.
“Boo” was a class of 2015 graduate of Garrard County High School. Boo had a very high passion for the sport of football ever since the young age of four. His passion and love for his Alma mater Garrard County High School Golden Lions and the University of Louisville Cardinals. Boo attended numerous Golden Lions games after graduating and attending his first U of L game during the 2024 season against SMU. Boo joined Pleasant Valley Baptist Church at Boones Creek at an early age. He loved to play cornhole, go fishing, off roading, and many other things. Boo was loving, caring and never met a stranger. Boo also had a passion for dogs as he owned several pitbulls and ultimately fell in love with his frenchie, Celine (aka Jolene) named after his nieces Ava and Brayla.
Surviving is two wonderful sisters that he loved dearly Aaliyah Harvey-Montgomery and Sarayah Miller. A brother in law, Robert Montgomery, two special nieces Ava and Brayla Montgomery and the love of his life, Desmin Logan. He also leaves behind to Cherish his memories his maternal grandfather, Garland (Joyce) Harvey and his paternal grandmother, Loretta Johnson; an uncle, Rodney Whitley (LaDonna) and an aunt, Arnice Johnson. Also left to cherish his memory is his second mother, Sue Stevenson, a special aunt and uncle, Florence and Ballard Graham and a special cousin, Patrick Stevenson. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Boo was very loved by many people who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Spurlin Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Duncantown Cemetery in Lancaster.
Pallbearers are Derek Dowell, Fred Hayes, Darius Harvey, Lequan Johnson, Cameron Richards, Gauge Ballew, Steven (Binky) Baker and Dan Leavell.
Honorary pallbearers are GCHS Football teammates Class of 2015 and all his teammates throughout his years of playing sports, Coach Jerry Perry, Coach Bret Baierlein, Coach Mark Scenters, Coach David Hoskins, Coach Lamont Hocker, and
Coach Spencer Crutchfield.
