Amber Michelle Young, 32, of Lancaster, passed away September 14, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born in Georgia on June 27, 1989 to Susan Young of Covington and the late Doyle Young. 

Amber, my little redhead, she loved her family and her boys were the light of her life. Her soul purpose was to love, care, and raise her boys to become good men. She shared that caring spirit with others as a caregiver for the elderly. Her giggle laugh was infections and you couldn't not laugh with her. 

Surviving are three sons, Jonathan Delaney, Jr., William James Delaney, and Eric Wesley Delaney, all of Lancaster, a sister, Jessica Lee Cowan of Georgia and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home of Lancaster. Visitation will be from 1pm-2pm.
