Almedia Vaught, 86, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at her home. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Wade.

Almedia was born on June 22, 1937 in Garrard County, KY to the late Willie Edward and Maggie Gilliam Bolton. 

She was a member of Lancaster Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving is a daughter, Monica Vaught West (John) of Lancaster; a granddaughter, Morgan Brogli (Andrew); great-granddaughters, Noa Claire Brogli and Mia Drew Brogli arriving November 6, 2023; and numerous special nieces and nephews. 

Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by siblings, Roberta Prewitt, Faye Kietz, Lorene Bolton, Archie Dean Bolton, Kyle Bolton, Hogan Bolton, Donald Bolton, and Curt Bolton.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Daryl Hodge and Bro. Dwayne Lobb officiating. 

Visitation will be 12:00 noon until service time.

Burial will follow the funeral in Lancaster Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Andrew Martin Brogli, David Bolton, Rick Bolton, Mike Bolton, Junior Howard Keitz Jr., Steve Young, and Bruce Prewitt.
