Allison Wright Smith

Allison Wright Smith, 49 of Boyle County passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Ephraim McDowell Medical center.  She was born in Floyd County to Ronald and Loretta Hamilton Wright.  Allison is survived by her loving husband John Logans Smith.

Along with her husband, Allison is survived by a daughter Ashley Taylor Smith of Danville;  two brothers, Michael Wright of Printer and Ronald Wright (Lori) of Floyd County; a sister Sherry Wright of Floyd county.

Allison was preceded in death by brothers Adam Wright and Matthew Wright and a sister Sheila Wright.

Allison was a devoted mother and wife. She was a business owner in Lexington for many years before choosing to be a stay at home mom for her family. She put God and family first and enjoyed getting outdoors. She was always looking for the next hiking adventure with her husband John.  Allison had a way of brightening up any room she entered and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.  She will always be in our hearts. This is not a goodbye but rather a see you again.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday June 3, 2022 at Spurlin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the funeral home

Pallbearers will be Ronald Wright, Michael Wright, Edward Cooley, Will Begley, Shane Turner and James Dickerson.
