Stanley Davis Sr. Obituary

Stanley D. Davis, Sr., 77, of Fuzzy Duck Road, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 at this home. He was born on October 26, 1941 to the late Dillard D. and Katherine Overbee Davis. Stanley was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara F. Davis.

Stanley worked for over 18 years at Walmac Farms and loved mowing yards and playing music. He was a part of the Outhouse Gang that loved to play music at Todd and Brummett Barber Shop.

Surviving is a son, Stanley D. Davis, Jr. (Sharon) of Winchester; three daughters, Tammy Wrenn (Julian) of Lancaster, Melony Brown (Kevin) of Lexington and Crystal Morrison of Lexington; three sisters, Carolyn Bowman (Darrel) of Berea, Wanda Hensley (Raymond) of Harrodsburg and Kathy Browning of Berea; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Gene Davis and sister, Shirley Sharpe.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12 noon at his home on Saturday, May 4, 2019. All friends and family are invited to attend.
