Roger Lane

Roger Dale Lane, 66, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Ephraim McDowell Hospital. He was born on August 15, 1952 in Garrard County to the late Willie Hugh and Mary Purcell Lane. Roger is survived by his loving wife, Regina Davis Lane. 

He was a mechanic at Stuart Powell Ford for over 32 years. Roger loved to hunt rabbits, fish and going to the Copper Creek auction. 

Also surviving is a son, Steve Lane (Kimberly) of Lancaster; grandchildren, Shawn Lane (Jordan) and Kristin Lane and great grandchild, Tristin "Muley" Lane.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Delores Coffey, Ralph Lane and Lucian Lane.

Funeral services 1PM Friday, May 17, 2019 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Irvin Clark. Burial in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 5-8PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Huston Clark, Jimmy Coffman, Alvin Padgett, Jr., Dakota Padgett, Chris Tolson, Mike Bell, Bailey Padgett and Rick Sinkhorn.

Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Burkhart, Reed Baierlein, John Tyler, Roger Clark, Paul Massey and Willie Clark.
