Reba Cotton

Reba Rose Preston Cotton, 96, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, June 28, 2019 at her home. She was born on September 14, 1922 in Garrard County, KY to the late Marshall and Elburtie Hurt Preston. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph H. Cotton. 

Reba was a member of Bethel Christian Church for over 70 years. She retired from Palm Beach in Danville and was an active member of the Senior Citizens Group of Garrard County. 

She is survived by a brother, John Paul(Georgetta) Preston and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, Reba was preceded in death by two brothers and sister in laws, George Hogan Preston and Zella and Harry Logan Preston and Kathleen; two sisters, Willie Belle Preston and Edna Mae Sebastian and brother in law, W T Sebastian. 

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday July 2, 2019 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Ballinger officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday. 

Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. 

Pallbearers are nephews, Tommy Sebastian, Donnie Sebastian, Bobby Preston, Jerry Preston, Ricky Preston, Randy Preston, Steve Ray, and Mason Bourne.

Honorary pallbearers are Joan Tussey, Raymond Hatfield, Richard Sebastian, Joe Floyd, Vivian Goins, Delores Isaacs, Para Bean, Joan Grimes, Rebecca Daly, Coleene Haggard and Rebecca Hargrove.
