Nellie Hightower

Nellie Faye Conn Hightower, 90, of Lexington, formerly of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Bluegrass Care Center in Lexington.

She was born in Paint Lick, Kentucky to the late HP and Nannie Conn. Nellie worked for Cowdens and Palm Beach for many years and was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church.

Surviving is a son, Roger Dean Davis of Lexington and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by five brothers, Carl, Robert Russel, Harry, Charlie and John Conn and four sisters, Sally L. Conn, Georgetta Cruey, Edna Wayne and Alene Prewitt.

Funeral services 1PM Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Readnour officiating.

Burial in Lancaster Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Monday, June 17, 2019 from 6-8PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Bill DeBord, Billy DeBord Jr., Steven DeBord, Jamie DeBord, George DeBord, and Tony Vasquez.
