Nancy Grimes

Nancy Grimes, 74, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday at her home. She was born in Lincoln County to the late John and Hester Hammonds Maupin.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Kirby Grimes.
 
She was retired from Matsushita and a member of McKendren Methodist Church.
 
Surviving are two sons, John Grimes (Sherry) and KC Grimes, both of Lancaster; a daughter, Paula Grimes of Lancaster; a sister, Mary Ann Gillum (David) of Virginia Beach; grandchildren: Danielle Grimes, Stewart Grimes, Madeline Grimes, Grace Grimes, Jonathan Grimes, Tyler Adkins, and Ashton Adkins, and a daughter-in-law, Crystal Grimes.
 
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 PM on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Spurlin Funeral Home.

A private burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery with Bro. Wendell Johnson officiating.
 
Pallbearers are Tim Davis, Stewart Grimes, Jonathan Grimes, Cameron Montgomery, Monroe Troyer, and David Humphrey.
 
Honorary pallbearers are Troy Grow and Dwayne Stipe.
