Leotha Eugene Spicer

Leotha Eugene Spicer, 85, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at his home. Leotha was born on January 16, 1934 to the late Jessie Spicer and Mary Viola Hagans. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Deloris. 

Along with his wife, Deloris, Leotha is survived by one daughter, Carnetta Davis; one sister, Mary Turley; two granddaughters, Stephanie Thomas and Shaunetta Thomas; two grandsons, Derrick and Michael; a stepdaughter, Narissa Henderson and a stepson Lewis Garr; seven great-grandchildren, Shauntavia Thomas, Delmar Thomas, Shapreah Thomas, Bree-ana Thomas, Delwyn Thomas ll, Nyla Doyle and Michael Thomas ll.

Along with his parents, Leotha was preceded in death by two brothers, Elbert and Jessie; three sisters Maudie, Amanda and Beautrice; one granddaughter, Joyce Bennett. 

Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Brother Barry Bowman.

Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service.
