LaVera Adams

LaVera Adams, 69, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby. She was born on June 9, 1949 in Garrard County, KY to the late Lucian Glenmore and Elveree Tussey Broaddus. LaVera worked as a administrative secretary for over 10 years at Garrard County Memorial Hospital, and she was currently working at the Garrard County Board of Education for over 30 years in administrative payroll.

She was a lifelong member of Bethel Christian Church. 

Surviving are two sons, Glenn Adams of Lexington, and Brad Adams of Frankfort, KY; two brothers, Glenmore Wayne Broaddus(Mary Ellen) of Kirksville, and J.T. Broaddus(Geneva) of Kirksville.

Funeral services are 1:00 PM Monday, August 27, 2018 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Ballinger officiating. Vitiation will be 4-8 PM Sunday. 

Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are Perry Tussey, Steve Himes, Deno Constantine, Brian Adams, Joe Floyd, and Lucian Broaddus.

Honorary pallbearers are Treva Brickey, Mary Adrian Davis, Fran Briner, Diane Sullivan, Ricky Padgett, David Abee, and Garrard County Board of Education Staff, and members of Bethel Christian Church.
