Juanita Gullett

Juanita Gullett, 89, of Madison County, formerly of Garrard County, passed away Friday at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry. Juanita was born on July 8, 1928 in Magoffin County, KY to the late Edward and Leona Caudill Conley. She retired from Cowden's Manufacturing after 32 years. She also co-owned along with her husband, Gullett's Restaurant in Lancaster. Above all else, family was most important to Juanita. She was a loving and wonderful mother.

Juanita was a member of Lancaster Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Bob Gullett(Joyce) of Richmond, Jim Gullett(Bonnie) of Richmond, and Tim Gullett(Lynette) of Danville; a sister, Felsie Bandy(Roger) of Junction City; five grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Gullett; six brothers, Elmon Conley, Melvin Conley, Arbie Conley, Harold Conley, Carliss Conley, and Garnel Conley; three sisters, Ella Mae Naylor, Christine Howard,Earlene Patrick, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating. Visitation will be 6-9 PM Monday.

Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY.

Pallbearers are Shannon Conley, Gary Conley, Randy Conley, Brad Gullett, Donnie Short, and Marion Clay Parsons.
