Howard Coop was a wonderful Christian man and he will be greatly missed. He would send me AN ENCOURAGING WORD every week and I was always encouraged, even in the greatest despair. I know his reward must be great in heaven as he was a faithful servant and preacher of the WORD. Prayers for his family and being sent to many prayer chains in the area I live.

Rev. Howard Coop was a minister at my church, Alexandria United Methodist when we were in middle and high school. He and Kathryn were my neighbors. My family became very close. We loved them like family. I nicknamed him, Uncle Red because I loved him like an uncle and he had red hair. We kept in touch for the rest of their lives. We will miss him.
