Henry Lear

Henry Lear, 83, of Garrard County, passed away Saturday December 7, 2019 at Harrodsburg Health & Rehab. Henry was born on April 27, 1936 in Madison County, KY to the late Sherman and Omie Delaney Lear.

Henry was a farmer and a member of King Tabernacle Church in Happy Landing, KY.

Surviving are two brothers, James Lear(Wanda) of Lancaster, and Charles Lear of Lancaster; two sisters, Ivie Davidson(Henry) of Kirksville, KY and Sue Lear of Lancaster; and several nieces, nephews, and host of family members.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Harvey Lear and a sister, Minnie Coleman.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday December 12, 2019 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Ernest Lear  officiating. 

Visitation will be 11:00 am until service time. 

Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Clayton Shepherd, Mark Metcalf, Ralph Meadows, Steven Baker, Maurice Buford, Blake Baker, and James Lear.
