George William Correll

George William Correll, 73, of Lancaster, passed away Monday April 1, 2019 at his home. He is survived by his loving wife, Diana Lynn Cameron Correll.
He was born on February 11, 1946 in Eubank, KY to the late William and Thelma Moore Correll. 

George, a Vietnam Veteran, served his country in the United States Army. He was a Diesel Mechanic for over 44 years. Two of his favorite hobbies were fishing and watching Kentucky Basketball. 

Also surviving is a daughter, Melissa Correll of Stanford, KY; three sons, George Correll Jr.(Tabitha) of Nicholasville, Raymond Correll(Melissa) of North Carolina, and James Correll(Stephanie) of South Dakota; ten grandchildren, Samantha Hodge, Dawson Hodge, Madison Correll, Mollie Correll, William Correll, Allison Correll, Dillon Correll, Oliver Correll, Kamrie Correll, and Liam Correll.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert and Harold Correll; and three grandchildren, Christopher, Cameron, and Makayla Correll.

Graveside services will be 2:30 PM Friday, April 5, 2019 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Bro. Bill Morrow officiating.

Visitation will be 5-8 PM Thursday at the Funeral Home.
