Dorothy Peel Obituary

Dorothy Peel, 91, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Ft. Logan Hospital in Stanford, KY. She was born on January 13, 1927 in Jessamine County to the late Hamlet and Carolyn Reynolds Peel.

Dorothy retired after 30 years from Alcoa Aluminum in Louisville, Kentucky.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including her nephew, Barry Peel of Lancaster with whom she resided.

Along with her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by seven brothers and a sister.

Funeral services 1PM Friday, April 20, 2018 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Darin Jenson officiating. Visitation will be from 11AM until time of service.

Burial in Lancaster Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Pete Peel, Jeffery Peel, Kirby Dennis, Jack Brammer, Tommy Taylor, and Ron McMaine.
