Diana Y. Ray

Diana Young Ray, 61, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bear" Ray.  Diana was born on May 24, 1957 in DeQuincy, Louisiana to the late Raymond and Alma Swain Young. 

She was an RN for over 12 years at Thomson-Hood Medical Center in Wilmore. 

Diana enjoyed her flower garden, scrap booking and loved all of her animals. 

Also surviving are two sons, James Baker Hale of Lebanon and Robert Hale of Lancaster; a daughter, Heather Hayes(Travis) of Richmond; a sister, Gladys King of Georgia; a grandson, Julius Hagen Hale; and a uncle, Billy Young.

Diana was also preceded in death by two brothers, Justin Baker Young and Ricky Young and a sister,  Evonne Farr. 
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until service time.

Burial will be in Duncantown Cemetery.
