Arber Della Meadows, 90, of Lancaster, went from this life into eternal life with Christ on February 19, 2019. She was born and raised in Mt. Hebron, Kentucky, until she left with the love of her life at the age of 15. She wed on February 12, 1944 and celebrated 75 years of anniversaries with Harold on February 12, 2019.
Della is survived by her beloved and faithful husband, Harold Meadows and their favorite daughter, Haroletha Klausing. She has four grandchildren, Roscoe Klausing (Elizabeth McLaren), Brook Klausing, Mary Jane Cooksey (Noah), and Lucia Keller (Charlie). Della has seven great-grandchildren, Sarah (10) and Oren (6) Klausing, Hannah (11), Isaiah (9), and Simon (5) Cooksey, and Haydon (5) and Charlotte (3) Keller. She also is survived by one surviving sister, Anna Hurt Meadows.
She was given the spiritual gifts of service, encouragement, and the healing hands of a nurse. Although she was never a trained nurse, she was always nursing people in the community and family members. She worked side by side with Harold, as his secretary, in the profession of the Radio and TV business until they both retired after 33 years. She was the most loving, forgiving, patient person known to many and always proclaimed her life for Christ. She was a faithful member of Lancaster Baptist Church for many years.
Funeral services 11AM Friday, February 22, 2019 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Harold Best officiating. Burial in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 21, 2019 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Roscoe Klausing, Brook Klausing, Noah Cooksey, Charlie Keller, Ethan Cain and Christian Cain.
Honorary pallbearer will be Danny Cain.
Memorial contributions are preferred to Lancaster Baptist Church.
