Obituary for Tracy Penman

Tracy Penman, 45, of Oldham County, formerly of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was born on March 16, 1972 in Danville, KY to Elizabeth Buford Penman and the late John Thomas Penman. Tracy had a passion for art, and was very talented. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Surviving is his mother Elizabeth Penman of Lancaster; a daughter, Brittany Chavez of Lexington; seven brothers, John Penman of Lancaster, Ronald Penman of Lancaster, Buford Penman of Lancaster, Rodney Penman(Cynthia) of Lancaster, Edward Penman(Kelly) of Lancaster, Tony Overstreet of Danville, and Robert Coulter of Nicholasville; four sisters, Darlene Spicer(Steven) of Lancaster, Valerie Penman of Lancaster, Phyllis Newcomb Stewart of Lancaster, and Kristal Medellin(Renato) of Richmond; a grandson, Valentin Chavez; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ernie Lear, Pastor Michael McPherson, and Elder James McDonald officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until service time.

Burial will be in Duncantown Cemetery in Lancaster, KY.

Active pallbearers are Stanley Penman, Ceryle Green, Rob Boatley, Dontae Logan, William Burton, and Victor Flores.

Honorary pallbearers are John Thomas, Sonny Young, Michael Warren, Jamie Black, William Hocker, and Johnny King.
