Obituary for James Elmer Baldridge

James "Elmer" Baldridge, 45, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Nicholasville. He is survived by his loving wife, Amber. Elmer was born on February 11, 1972 in Ohio to James Earl Baldridge and Carlotta Renfroe. Elmer enjoyed coaching football, working on cars, fishing, and hunting.

Also surviving is a son Richard "RJ" Baldridge of Lancaster; a daughter, Erin Baldridge of Lancaster; and two sisters, Elizabeth Baldridge and Janet Baldridge Brooks both of Flatwoods; honorary brothers, Shane Kretzer and Juan Thomas; nieces, Hannah Morrison (Jonathan) and Savannah Brooks; nephews, Seth Brooks, great nephew, Braydon Morrison; and honorary nieces, Amelia, Suzie, and Tabby Kretzer, and Limikia Robinson.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 25. 2017 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Faron Owen officiating. Visitation will be 5-9 PM on Tuesday.

Burial and graveside service will be in Dixon Cemetery in Westwood, KY around 3 PM.

Active pallbearers are Jonathan Morrison, "RJ" Baldridge, Seth Brooks, Jaun Thomas, Scott Shinn, Walter Thomas, Herb Scaggs, and Shane Kretzer.

Honorary pallbearers are Oscar Treadway, Erin Baldridge, Herb Scaggs, Chris Eddie, Shawn Davis, Curtis Reese, and PW Cougars Football Team 3rd and 4th Garrard County Football.
